With traditional vehicles becoming an increasingly unsustainable and harmful travel option in today's world , the lack of initiative to make cleaner transport options more affordable for a wider range of people seemed glaringly obvious. While it is certainly helpful to bring attention to the increasingly worrying environmental crisis, waiting for government initiatives and other EV brands to help facilitate a sustainable and affordable way to get around has been less than fruitful.

Unsurprisingly, the biggest obstacle with regard to successful EV adoption in the country has been affordability, with the average Indian customer simply being priced out from getting an EV of their own. While many EV manufacturers may talk about the importance of sustainable transport, their prices do not cater to a wide enough customer base - typically ranging from 90,000 INR all the way to 1.5 lakhs INR.

Another major factor that alienates a massive potential base is the fact that these brands also generally cater exclusively to metro and tier-1 cities in the country.
